The Kitchen of Their Dreams
Everyone has THAT kitchen that they dream of having someday. They’ve created Pinterest boards, drooled their way through cabinet showrooms, and have lost countless hours of sleep, online “window” shopping for everything from lighting fixtures to bar stools. This family also had a vision and after a quick call to us, here at Ohio Property Brothers, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work on making this homeowner’s dream a reality.
We began with some light demo in order to finally give them the open concept they’ve long desired, and in turn, nearly doubling their kitchen’s footprint. With the installation of engineered hardwood floors in a warm, hickory we were able to give them beautiful, seamless flooring throughout.
The all new, dove white “Lynndale” cabinetry from Kraftmaid, makes this large space feel fresh and airy, but especially pops against the New Venetian Gold granite countertops. The over-sized island in an espresso finish perfectly grounds the kitchen and beckons to family and friends to gather around.
Vintage elements such as the ceramic farmhouse sink, schoolhouse inspired pendant lighting, and Navona travertine subway tile were incorporated throughout this design, lending to its overall classic, yet contemporary appeal.
What was once a small and dated kitchen, now glows! We’re so pleased to have been able to give such an exceptional family the kitchen of their dreams and wish them the most wonderful of memories are made in it!
Even the best DIYer can use a hand from time to time, and Ohio Property Brothers is happy to lend it!
