With this project we definitely had a great space to work with, it just needed a bit of a facelift. We were able to further integrate the kitchen with the great room by removing the bar top and replacing it with a seamless, Rhapsody quartz peninsula. The cabinets were given new life by painting them a crisp, white, further opening up this fantastic space, and finished off with timeless, brushed nickel hardware. A little pop of color goes a long way, which is demonstrated perfectly with the tranquil, steel-blue subway tile backsplash.
Let’s face it: we live in a shiplap obsessed world and for good reason! This trendy effect was achieved beautifully in the bathroom where it was complemented by stunning new lighting, driftwood inspired mirrors that mimic the flooring, brushed nickel fixtures and hardware, and the crowning jewel—aptly named Serenity quartz vanity top.
And seeing as how you can’t have a truly great room without a truly great fireplace, the mantle was given a fresh coat of paint and now exquisitely frames the Serenity quartz surround and hearth.
We are thrilled to have been apart of this home renovation and hope that this awesome family enjoys their new spaces for years to come!
